The purpose of this article is to explain the usefulness and functionality of the Bookings Dashboard in Analytics.
Below you'll find some tips on how to use this dashboard.
Concerning your booking not converted into shipments, you will be able to monitor them using this :
Main objective: The goal is to monitor bookings that have not yet been converted into shipments to ensure that data is provided on time.
You will have access to some key details about your bookings:
- Unconverted bookings: 2,343 in our example
- Departure in the next 7 days: 452 in our example
- Should have departed: 546 in our example
You will also have access to charts and tables detailing the following elements:
- Overview of booking statuses: A pie chart shows the statuses of the bookings (59% accepted, 30% under review, 11% confirmed in our example).
- Unconverted bookings chart: A bar chart shows the number of bookings per week based on their last known ETD. The 'Today' line indicates the current date, with bookings before this line requiring special attention as they should have already been shipped.
With this information, monitor the bookings not yet converted into shipments based on their last known ETD. All bookings to the left of the 'Today' line have a past ETD but no shipment information. You might therefore be missing the start of the tracking for those.
On the table below the charts, you will have access to all your bookings that have not yet been converted into shipments. You can also choose which elements to display in this table according to your needs.
Now, concerning all your bookings, you will be able to monitor them here :
On this dashboard, all of your bookings will appear, allowing you to monitor them easily.
For example, here, we can see that there is a total of 9,263 bookings made, of which 5,823 have been converted into shipments.
You can also, using the chart in the top right corner, track the number of bookings made over time and further analyze by forwarder or shipper.
Finally, this dashboard will also allow you to:
- Compare the requested ETDs with the confirmed ETDs in the booking, or with the ATDs retrieved during tracking.
- Evaluate the time taken between a booking request and confirmation for each forwarder using a bar chart."
